Mondays

Ugh, Mondays who likes them? I definitely don't . Mondays are always so tiring. I didn't even felt like getting out the bed today because I really wasn't up for going to school , especially because it's summer. I know that's not good to feel that way because I knew that I was giving up my summer to better my future. But on most  summer days I'm use to staying up all night and sleeping in late during the day. But I know taking the classes is a good thing and it is also the smart thing to do. It keeps you learning all year long. But sometimes you get tired of things and you would want a break to relax. But you know what they say , "hard work pays off" . So with that being said I'm gonna do what it takes to get my work done and make good grades. I am also going to make the best out of these summer classes. Yes, I am a over achiever and go getter. 

Fridays

I don't know what it is but it's just something about Fridays that I just love. My summer classes went by pretty smooth today. I actually got home way early than I usually do. Took my first English test today , pray I did good. Some of it was quite easy but some was a little tricky. But overall I think I did good. Maybe later on I'll do some studying for the topics that we will discuss next week, just to get ahead. Nothing's wrong with being ahead and on top of your "A"game. Anyways I'm happy I don't have any homework this weekend. I can finally relax some. But I know the weekend is gonna go by fast. Then it's back in them books because your education is very important. A good motto to go by would probably be "Work hard now , Have fun later".

College is totally different from High School

To some up my college experience so far in one word, it would be stressful. I can honestly say that college is way totally different from high school. If you ask me, you can not compare them together. If haven't really study much in high school , just wait on. When you get to college, the key to survival is constantly studying and knowing your work. Being prepared , having determination ,and dedication will take you far in your college career. It's been very challenging for me so far. It's a lot of work and homework. I mean what can you expect , it's college. Who said it was gonna be easy? If you did , you thought wrong. Being in college I learn life lesson, responsibility, and how to become independent. 

The Lord is My Shepherd

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. 

This is my favorite bible scripture, it's something you can read to comfort you when you're feeling down or going through a rough time in your life. I thought that I should share this with maybe it help brighten up your day like it did to me. 

Test

Wow first test today for my college course. It wasn't quite what I expected to be. It was actually quite hard. I learn some lessons for my next test. I learned that I have to prepare myself better and study harder when it comes to taking a test. In order to make good grades you have to do the work , so that you can get the grade. No one likes to fail but you can't just expect to get a good grade. It has to be some kind of effort put forth to get things done. I know college life isn't easy, it's going to be a challenge. But I can't let stress over rule me or give up because I know that I can do anything I our my mind to. I can accomplish all my goals , if I just put my mind to it. It takes hard work and dedication and I'm definitely willing to give that. 

Studying . .

Kicking back , laying down relaxing , listening to music . It's such good feeling. Trying to get some rest , for the BIG Day tomorrow. I'm going to have my first college course test. Wow you just don't know how anxious and nervous I am. I'm doing all it takes when comes to studying and preparing myself for this test. It would mean so much to mean if I can make an "A". I mean a "B" is acceptable but not anything lower I wouldn't accept it. For one , I just love making good grades but I also do get upset if I feel like I deserve a higher grade or If I knew I could do better to get a higher grade. I'm just wondering how many questions will it be or is there something on there that I haven't study. Wow so many questions just flood threw my mind when I think of the test. Got to go peeps , have tons of more studying to do. Wish me luck ! 

Priorities

You know what they say , "a picture is worth a thousand words" . Well, I actually do agreed , especially with this picture. For starters , this picture talks about priorities. Priorities are things that are most important . In order to get things done one must first have their priorities straight. This picture is also worth a thousand words because it lets you know that you gotta do what you have to do before you can do what you want to do. For example , I may have a test tomorrow morning , so that means today I would need some time to study. But my friend Sarah wants me to go to a party with her tonight. By having my priorities straight I know that I can not go to the party with Sarah because I have a test tomorrow and I would need some rest and time to study , so that I would be able to pass my test. If I didn't have my priorities straight I would have went to the party with Sarah and forgot about studying. Then I would probably fail my test because I didn't study and I didn't get any rest. The best way to be is to have your priorities straight because you can make it further in life with your accomplishments. 

Blessed ..

Woke up , with a lot on my mind , probably because I was doing a lot of thinking lately. But just think , when you actually just sit and think of the past and about all things that you been through. Or how you've change into someone better, because you're not the same person who you use to be. It's really amazing that you made it through all those obstacles. Even When you had many problems and you didn't know what to do or how you were going to make it out of the situation but you did some how. Those are truly great blessing because if it wasn't for God where would we be today? That's why it's so important that we thank God for all the things he has done for us. He may not come when you want him, but he is always on time. Everything in life happens for a reason and some reasons we questioned but we can not question God's word because it's all according to his plan. I was feeling like spread God's word to his amazing Children. . Happy Sunday Everyone!! :)  

College Dedication

Wow first week of college finish already . It's amazing how time fly by so fast. One down three more to go. Then I would be finally finish with my summer college classes. My first couple of days has been challenging. I had lots of homework , especially today for the weekend. I'm glad that I gotten it because it teaches me responsibility and early preparedness for college. I learned a couple of new things and some was things already learned in high school. I know that I'm going to learn a lot from my professors. College is very different from high school. It was exactly what I expected . Actually I didn't know what to expect. College gives you that alone independent feeling. I can tell that things aren't going to be easy. I am going to have to work very hard to get the grades I desire because this is what I want. But you know how the saying says going "hard work pays off" and I totally I agree with that because the things you want in life isn't going to just be handed to you , you have to work for it. It takes hard work and much dedication. 

Blogging

Okay I'm finally getting more comfortable with blogging. I was getting confused because I didn't know what to do.  At first , it was a little tricky to me but now I actually think I'm gonna like it. It's a new learning experience and it's always great opportunity to learn something new. One of my biggest problems I face was trying to find the right topic to talk about. Picking a topic isn't  that easy because you don't wanna pick something boring. You go for something that's interesting and something that you can actually say a lot about . But when I sat down to think about it , I realized it really wasn't that hard , it was easier than I think because you can basically talk about anything that interest you or something that you can relate to. It's basically your own online diary that you can go to and clear your mind and let your thoughts go to work. It's also a good way to relieve stress and also get things off of your chest. I actually thank my English teacher for informing me about blogging. She's seems like a great motivated and encouraging teacher so far. Thanks Ms. Bradford!

College opportunity

Wow, It’s already my second day of college at Denmark Tech, what a great opportunity to get ahead and get started with my college career. At first I was quite nervous because I didn’t know what to expect. But, I must say this is such a great learning experience for me. I’m just a rising senior in high school and I am able to say, “Yes, I was giving an opportunity to better my knowledge and be advanced in college. That’s truly a blessing. I’m actually enjoying it so far. I’ve met a couple of new friends and some very awesome instructors. This program is very excellent and it’s only 4 weeks to do everything that you would actually do in one whole semester.  Most teens wouldn’t give up their summer just to do summer school work. As for me, I personally think that your priorities come first. I’m very dedicated when it comes to getting my education. I would do whatever it takes for my career in life to be successful. By taking these summer classes, I’m already on the road to success. These classes are giving a feel of what I will experience as full time college student. I would definitely recommend that any high school student who has the opportunity to take these classes to take advantage of it!
