Relationships

When you think of personal relationship , most people would probably say that those aren't important at all. Some may feel like that's just a necessity. But it's much more than that. A personal relationship is important because it is a vital component of health and wellbeing. Research says that theres compelling evidence that strong relationships contribute to a long, healthy, and happy life. In addition , Research shows that healthy relationships can help you live long longer , deal with stress and be healthier. There are also some consequences with having low support system such as depression and high blood pressure. It is amazing how you can do some research and find out information that you didn't know before. I would've never think that relationships were that important.

The importance of College

One topic I had to do for a writing assignment was the importance of college. I felt like this was a great topic to express how I feel about college and my experiences. But when you think about college, many people don't really believe that a college degree is necessary to become successful in the world, and that anyone who is truly talented and knows what he wants to do can achieve anything. To be honest, there is nothing wrong in this way of thinking, however, having a college degree can offer more job opportunities. It is also a good start to have a successful career. College is also during the time when students learn how serious and difficult life can be and how it is important to grow up. It helps many teenagers mature into responsible adults.

Great Experience

Time is definitely winding down to end of this summer program.  It was such a good experience for me I must admit. I learned so much in such a short period time. I also learned some life lessons about my future career in college. College is going to be challenge , no doubt about it. You have to learn how to do things for yourself and not rely on other people to do it for you all the time. You also have to learn responsibility, like for example , getting to class on time and being accountable for your work. College is not all work , you do have some fun times as well. Like a couple of times the professors would say a little joke or something , just to get the students to loosen up  and smile some. Because It's nothing wrong with getting a good laugh every once in a while because laughter is good for the soul. But overall this was such a experience for me.

College

College isn't no joke. I can honestly say that this experience really gave me a run for my money. It was very challenging , no doubt about it. It gave me glimpse of my future career as a full time college student. It prepared me for the real world. I taught me how to be responsible and independent. Coping with stress is another. It is very important that if you go to college to make sure you do your work and make at least passing grades; if not you'll be wasting your money and time. Taking care of your priorities is one of the main goals and responsibility in college. You have to be ready for the real world. The real world will chew you up and spit you out , if you're not ready.

Last Week

Yelling and screaming because I'm soo happy. I can finally say "So it comes down to my last week of school". Time has really pass me by. I been waiting on this week for the longest. I know that this week is gonna go by slow because of last minute work and exams. But I'm glad it will be all over with and out of my hair. Hopefully it will be all worth it in the long run. I just hope to pass because I expect the best and nothing but the best. After this week I can official say that my summer has begun. No more waking up early and being up late studying , doing homework. It won't be no more work for me until August the 18th. That day I will officially be a senior in the graduating class of 2015. This going to be one amazing school year for me, I can see it already.

Happy Fourth!!

The Fourth of July is a day when family and friends can gather and celebrate together. Okay we all celebrate it but do we actually know what the meaning is? The Fourth of July is a holiday of course but it is also Independence Day. But it's not just a ordinary holiday it's a federal holiday in the United States of America; commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. It declared independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain. It is a day where people cherish everything that America stands for. But If you ask someone, many would probably say that the meaning change over time. The 4th of July has become nothing more than another commercial holiday: another excuse to get drunk, eat junk food, and escape the grind of the workforce for one measly day. Having good knowledge is such a good thing; Knowing your history is another. It's good to learn your history and to know what you are celebrating. Happy Fourth Everyone!

It's Life

It's the day before the 4th of July and it seems like the road just get rockier and rockier. It's just soo much going on. It's hard trying to balance school and trying to have a little social life at the same time. I'm at the point where sometimes I just feel like giving up. But I know that's definitely the wrong thing to do because I'm not a quitter; that word isn't even in my vocabulary. I just have to say a little prayer and keep moving. Who said college was gonna be easy? Nobody , you just live and you learn. Everything is gonna be okay , it just don't feel like it right now , but it will. But I'm just glad that I can get a little break from class but only because the 4th of July is on a Friday. But I'll be back at it on Monday.  I'm trying my best because I just wanna make good grades and pass. It takes hard work and dedication to do that and I am willing to do that .
